AFC Welcomes Parsons

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Hudson Parsons as manager of our new Under-18s side.

The announcement comes as part of our new partnership with Rosegrove FC, with Lewis Hughes also joining the club as Under-18s assistant manager.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the players and coaches from Rosegrove to our club next year to form our new Under-18s,” said chairman Shane Hudson.

“We’ve already heard good things about the team and coaches who are moving up into the Under-18s, and that is all credit to Rosegrove and the hard work they have put in so far.

“The ideal for us this to help young players continue their development and help them progress as people and players, to play a vital role in our club’s future.

“We’d like to offer a warm welcome to Hudson, his coaching team and players and we are confident that they will be a great addition to AFC Burnley.”

Parsons, who brings plenty of experience having spent six seasons at Rosegrove, added: “I had a Zoom meeting with Shane (Hudson) and Ben (Reuven) on Saturday morning.

“We had a chat about what will be going on and it sounds really good. It’s a brilliant opportunity for the boys – a good pathway into adult football.”
